Sheila Brewer

It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Sheila Mary Brewer (Kernaghan), aged 56 years. Sheila passed away on June 28, 2017 at the University Hospital in London, Ontario. Sheila loved to travel, especially to a warm, sunny beach where she would enjoy a good book. There was nothing she loved more than spending her time in her backyard where she would tend to her garden and play with her grandchildren. Sheila had many occupations throughout the years, most recently spending the past 7 years working at the Valhalla Inn.

Sheila will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 36 years, Rob Brewer; children Jennifer (Ryan) Meservia and Kevin (Melanie) Brewer; mother-in-law Freda Brewer. She is also survived by her grandchildren Sarah and Emily Meservia; brother Rick (Jill) Kernaghan of Vancouver, BC; sister Karen Rose and nephews Adam (Lisa) Rose, Sean (Kristen) Rose and Kyle Rose (Ruth Hamlin-Douglas).

At Sheila’s request, there will be no funeral service. A private family interment is to be held on a later date. The family wishes that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, the Intensive Care Unit at TBRHSC or any charity of your choosing.
