Stella Page, age 92, passed away peacefully at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre on February 2, 2021. She will be remembered as a kind and loving person devoted to her family and friends. She lived an honest and spiritual life that valued grace and dignity for all.

She enjoyed her time cooking wonderful meals, watching sports, especially curling and hockey (Leafs fan), reading and focusing on her family. Thunder Bay was her home.

Born to Jesse and William Manryk (Westfort area). She was raised in her Ukrainian language and spoke fluently in her earlier days. The youngest of four children – brothers Ted, Ross and Bill. All predeceased. Raised in the great depression, she left high school in Grade 11 to attend Kings Business College.

Prior to her marriage to James (Jimmy) Page, she worked as a secretary with Thunder Bay Lumber. Her marriage to Jimmy lasted 53 years until his passing in 2005.

She raised three children - Karen, Kevin and Bobby. When Bobby was of age, she returned to work to help launch the Kmart store (credit office) and eventually retired at the Canada Post Office.

In retirement, she traveled Canada with Jimmy in their RV visiting family. They shared a great passion for the outdoors – camping and fishing on Lac des Mille Lacs. They were faithful parishioners of St Patrick’s Cathedral.

She will be sadly missed by her sister-in-law Barbara Couture, children Karen Smith, sons Bobby (Brenda) and Kevin (Julia), Ottawa, and grandchildren Christina, Michael, Ian, Tyler (predeceased), Jesse and Chelsey. She will be sadly missed by her six great grandchildren, Olivia & Madelyn Brassard, Landyn, Rosalie & Logan and Audrey Stella Page.

Special thanks to friends and workers at Sister Leila Greco Apartments.

Should friends desire, donations to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre Foundation or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated. Due to the COVID virus, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
