On Thursday, July 7, 2016, at the age of 61, Susan passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.
Susan was a lifelong resident of Thunder Bay (Port Arthur). She attended Hammarskjold High School and attended Lakehead University. She obtained a Master’s Degree in Sociology. She touched many lives through social work. Her loving personality, and her elegance. Susan loved her, was known for loving all animals, and had a passionate for animals.
Susan is survived by her mother Anna Lemesani, her brother Michael Lemesani, his lifelong partner Helen Letourneau, and her niece Victoria Kastrukoff.. Susan was predeceased by her father Henry Lemesani, sister Carole Lemesani-Senn, and numerous other family members.
Prayers will be held on Tuesday, July 12th at Blake Funeral Home at 6:00 PM following a service at St. Andrew’s Church on Wednesday, July 13th. 2016 which will be commencing at 11:00 am. All are welcome to attend her celebrations.
On Susan’s behalf, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Thunder Bay District Humane Society.
Susan Lemesani will be remembered in the Blake Funeral Chapel Memorial Grove. Annual dedication service Sunday, June 11, 2017.
