It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Suzanne Miller (Bergeron) at age 89 on October 24th, 2022 surrounded by family at the Thunder Bay Regional Hospital.

Sue was born and raised in Cochrane, Ontario and lived in many communities across the province over the years. In her retirement she moved west to BC where she met and married her dear husband, Albert Miller. Al and Sue loved to travel across Canada in their 5th wheel and would visit many friends and family along the way.

In 2007, Al and Sue moved  to Northwestern Ontario to be closer to family. She spent time in both Ignace and Thunder Bay where she was an active member of the Red Hat Society. She made many precious friends in Thunder Bay including her good friend, Jojo, who went above and beyond to help her in times of need.
She was a skilled seamstress, cross-stitcher, knitter, and floral designer; she loved using her wide variety of skills to craft items for friends and family. She was known for her sense of humour and was still cracking jokes in her final days.

Suzanne is survived by her daughter, Patricia (Daryl); son, Glenn (Bonnie); grandchildren, Jenna (Matt), Ryder (Maribel), Darby (Tyson), and Rose; great-grandchildren Ava, Dean, and Felix; and many nieces and nephews. She is now reunited with her loving husband, Al, and we know her great-granddaughter, Sierra, was waiting for her with a warm hug.

The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at the Thunder Bay Regional Hospital for the care and support they provided.

If friends so desire, donations in memory of Sue can be made to Northern Critters in Need.

Interment of ashes to be held at a later date.
