It is with great sadness that we had to say our last good bye's to our dear brother, uncle, cousin and friend, Terry Huskins, who passed away February 22, 2021, due to several health issues.
Born in Fort William August 1954 to Basil and Irene Huskins. Terry was a good worker, working for Hockwell for a short time where he worked on the Stanley Bridge, then for the next 30 years he worked for Port Arthur Lumber, a job that he loved and worked hard at.
Terry loved to spend time with family and friends but he also loved his movie selection, that was mainly because of his health problems. You would never see Terry without a smile no matter what was happening in life, he would just laugh about everything.
We always said you have to have eyes in the back of your head when out shopping just knowing that Terry may be around the corner driving his electric wheelchair, looking for a reason to brighten your day. We all agreed that Terry should have gotten several speeding tickets.
Terry will be sadly missed by brother Jack (Merry) of Morden Man., sister Maryann of Morden Man., brother Bruce (Brenda) of St. Catharine’s., sister Peggy (Gerard Terpstra) of Edmonton Alberta. Also missing Uncle Terry is his nephew Robert Brtko and brother in law Archie Veley, the three coffee buddies. Leaving behind are several nieces and nephews Brenda & Jim Bullied, Charmaine & Pablo Arevalo. Though he had no children of his own he always spoiled us.
Predeceased by his parents Basil and Irene Huskins, his brother Clifford, sister Thelma Brtko, sister Margaret Veley. We’d like to thank the Doctors and all the nurses at TBRHSC and in ICU for all the care and time you spent with Terry. Your Kindness to us as we said our good bye’s was appreciated. Thank you so very much.
