Mr. Thomas Wilbert “Webb” Liddicoat, age 80 years, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 5, 2016 in Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre, with his family by his side.

Wilbert was born on June 13, 1935 in Scoble Township and was one of eleven children born to George and Henrietta Liddicoat. He was educated locally and lived in Scoble all of his life. He met Edith Randle and they were married in July, 1958. Webb worked in the construction industry, as a labourer, until retirement in 1992. He greatly enjoyed his home and hobby farm in the country, keeping draft horses and competing in numerous pulling competitions. He was a member of the Thunder Bay Draft Horse Association. Webb's family was most important to him and he loved spending time with all of them, especially with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Wilbert will be deeply missed by his wife of 57 years, Edith; sons Robert (Penny) and Rodney and daughter Nora (Brian); grandchildren Janice, Jennifer, Erin, Stephen, Robert and Donald; great-grandchildren Brandon, Melissa, Jackson, Brittney and Darcy and 1 great-great-grandson, Jace. He is also survived by his sisters Blanche, Vivian and Irma and brothers Reuben and James as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.

He was predeceased by father George, mother Henrietta (nee Thompson), sisters Mary and Agnes and brothers William, Ernie and John.

Funeral Services for the late Mr. T. Wilbert Liddicoat will be held on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at 10:30AM in the WESTFORT CHAPEL, 420 West Gore Street at James. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to service time.

Should friends so desire, donations made in memory of Wilbert to the Northern Cancer Fund or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
