It is with great sorrow we announce the tragic and untimely passing of our precious boy Tucker Aaron-Scott Paul Gaudette, age 16, on October 27, 2022, at the TBRHSC, surrounded by his family.

Tucker was an active, attentive, caring compassionate young boy. He had a fascination for history and knew everything there was to know about the various World Wars from an early age, and subsequently, so did we, as he would talk our ears off. His inspiration and lifelong ambition was to serve in the Canadian Armed Forces.

At the age of four, Tucker picked up his first stick for a game of hockey. He went on to play for a number of different teams, all of which he truly enjoyed; he cherished both the sport itself and the opportunity to be a member of a team. After 8 years of hockey, he decided to hang up his skates and put away his stick only to join Cadets local 2294 18 (Thunder Bay) Service Battalion Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corp, where he participated and excelled for 5 years.

Aside from video games, Tucker cherished the great outdoors and time spent with his family at their camps. He had a soft spot in his heart for animals, especially his two boys, Luke and Bo.

Loved, remembered and missed by parents Wendy and Aaron Gaudette; siblings Brandon, Abi and Avery; grandparents Catherine and Neil Britton; grandma Linda; great grandparents Ann and Ron Gaudette; aunts and uncles, Thomas (Arjean), Raeanne (Lance), Andrew (Whitney) and aunty Liz; great aunts and uncles, Karen (Robert), Sharon (Bill) Cathy (Perky), Cheryl (Gerry), Gary (Barb), Lisa (Shaun) Dellard, Paul, John, Steven, Bradley, Michelle, Kim (John) and Leanne (Adam); cousins Ayden, Chayse, Maddox, Landon, Jade and Caleb. Tucker also has numerous family members that extend as far as the UK whom he has cherished deeply even though they were miles apart.

He is predeceased by papa Randy; great grandparents Elizabeth and Paul Naef; grandpa Rollie and Margaret; great uncle Bob; great aunts Reita and Mervile and cousin Lisa.

Tucker is also survived by many friends who meant the world to him, including childhood friends Mason, Mackenzie and Claire. Tucker was a generous and selfless young man who always put the needs of others above his own, even when he was the one in need.

Funeral Services for Tucker will be held in the Chapel of Harbourview Funeral Centre on Sunday, November 6, 2022 presided by Rev. Robert Smith at 2:00 p.m. Visitation for family and friends will begin one hour prior to the service. For those unable to attend in person, the service will be streamed live and archived at www.harbourviewfuneral.ca where condolences may be offered as well.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Tucker’s name to Alpha Court Community and Mental Health and Addictions at 221 Wilson Street, Thunder Bay, Ontario P7B 1M7. They also accept nonmonetary items such as crafts, arts supplies, musical instruments and any household items.
