It is with great sadness to announce the passing of WARREN LOUIS STEPANIC at Health Sciences North in Sudbury on November 26th, 2024, at the age of 65 years.
Born on March 3rd, 1959, to Louis Stepanic and Marguerite Temple in Thunder Bay Ontario. Survived by his wife Sylvia, daughter Jennifer (DeAnne), son Adam, and grandchildren Emerson & Claire. Surviving sisters Karen (Carmen Carlucci), Gwen, Beverly, Michelle, Melanie & Cherri. Sister-in-law Susan LeBrun & Elaine Daigle and numerous extended family, nieces and nephews, and life long friend Don (June) St Denis.
Warren was active in the community throughout his life, being the President of the Valley Trail Masters snowmobile club, a coach for children's soccer teams, and a member of the Lion's Club. Warren will be sadly missed by all extended family and friends met throughout the years, as Warren's charismatic kindness was infectious and memorable for those who had met him and entered his life.
Warren grew up in Thunder Bay, caring and kind hearted, meeting his wife Sylvia in 1976, soon married in 1980. His lifelong occupation was the Railway. Moved to Sudbury Ontario in 1994 to continue his career which led him to spend much time in the extended Sudbury area as well as North Bay Ontario. After retiring from his career with the railway, Warren enjoyed working for Northway Bus Lines as a school bus driver.
The family would like to extend its heartfelt thank you to the staff at Health Sciences North, staff at Pioneer Manor, Simple Wishes of the North and others for their amazing support and kindness.
A celebration of life will be held privately by the family at a later date. The family asks if donations in his name be sent to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
