Mr. Wayne Alanko, age 76, passed away in his home August 12, 2024, from ongoing health issues.
Wayne’s work life included being in the navy, travelling Canada and the USA while working with the circus, truck driving and working on the pipelines. Wayne was a member of the Teamsters Union.
Wayne was predeceased by his parents Eino and Martha (Wickman) Alanko, his brothers Melvin Wickman, Ronald Wickman, Percy Wickman, Gerry Wickman and one sister Myra Thompson.
Wayne will be remembered for being a good friend, his gift of gab, his incredible memory for dates and events, and for being an excellent pool player.
As per his wishes, cremation has already taken place. His ashes will be interred at a later date.
