The family of Wayne Arthur Busch are saddened to announce his passing on Feb. 11, 2016 at St. Joseph's Hospice following a brave battle with cancer.
He was born in Brantford, ON in 1953. The family moved to a farm in Devlin, ON where he grew up.
He was a trucker all of his adult life and enjoyed the open road. In 1989 he married the love of his life Donna and they raised two daughters together in O'Connor Township.
He was predeceased by his grandparents Arthur and Mercy Busch, his father Wayne Busch Sr., his sister Shirley, his father in law Morris Hazlett, and many friends. Wayne will be remembered fondly by his wife Donna, daughters Roberta (Blake) Dalgleish, Alexandra (Louis) Busch, mother Patricia Busch, mother in law Martha Hazlett, sisters Glenna (Gary) Lindquist, Sheila (Robert) Polkinghorne, and brothers Karl and Mark Busch.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at the Cancer Clinic and St. Joseph's Hospice for their compassionate care to Wayne and the family during this difficult journey.
A celebration of life for Wayne will be held at the O'Connor township hall from 1 p.m - 3 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 14, 2016. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Joseph's hospice.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Simpler Times Cremation Centre, 332 North May Street, Thunder Bay.
