Wayne Fernie

The family of Wayne Fernie is sad to announce his passing following a brief illness at TBRHSC on February 22, 2016.

He is predeceased by his father Stewart and mother Margaret (Probert).

He is survived by his three children, Alison (Arto), Michele (Deb) and Samantha O’Connell (Eric); granddaughter Kyrie O’Connell; the mother of his children, Marion (Reg) and his sister Sharon.

Wayne had a zest for life with a quirky sense of humor. He enjoyed music, camping with friends, fishing and had a passion for woodworking.

Thank you to our relatives and friends for their prayers and support.

The family would like to thank the hospital staff of 2A for their compassionate care. We are also grateful to the community support team who assisted our dad throughout the years.

An open house - Celebration of Life will take place Saturday, February 27, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. a t Jenkens Funeral Home.

Donations can be made in lieu of flowers to the Canadian Mental Health Association.
