It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of William (Bill) Kosoris, age 66, who left us suddenly on September 16 at TBRHSC with his family by his side. Bill was born on April 27, 1957, in Fort William. He was employed as a Class A mechanic for approximately 35 years. No matter what anyone needed, Bill was your guy. He was an all-around handyman who was always willing to help.

Bill was an avid photographer and outdoorsman. He was constantly joking and making everyone around him laugh. He touched the lives of so many, and he will be greatly missed.

Bill is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Joanne; his children, Shauna (Chris) and Alex (Tabitha); his granddaughter, Naomi; his brother, Gerry (Beth); sisters, Mary-Ann (Konstantin) and Natalia (Stepan); brothers-in-law, Ray, Ed, and Harry (Morna); sister-in-law, Laura; nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many very special friends and neighbours. Bill is predeceased by parents, Maurice and Irene.

A celebration of life (open house) for family and friends will be held September 30 between 2 and 5 pm at the Ramada by Wyndham Thunder Bay Airlane Hotel in the Tiberio room.

Special thanks to the wonderful staff at TBRHSC ICU for their hard work and compassion. If so desired, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Arthritis Society would be greatly appreciated.
