THUNDER BAY — The Thunder Bay Diving Club had a great weekend in Winnipeg, where they reconnected with Revolution Diving to compete at the annual Polar Bear Classic.
Adele Harvey Quintas had an impressive showing and placed first in all three events —1 M, 3 M, and Platform.
Teammate Lilah DePeuter came in with a strong 165.10 and 166.40 on the 3 M and 1 M, respectively.
Sara MacMaster, in her first away competition, had a tight score of 126.60 on the 1 M board.
Kobe Kostyshyn performed new dives and came in with solid scores in the 1M and Platform events.
Group D diver Kallikrates (Kall) Chornoboy took gold in the Platform and 3 M events, while his teammate Oliver Luxton also had a great weekend with tight scores.
The youngest competitor, Sawyer Dennis had a strong showing with impressive Group E scores for all three of his events.
Head Coach Rolando Prieto and Coaches Danielle Smith and Abbey Meloche are thrilled to see the continued improvement and hard work shown by the divers.
