THUNDER BAY -- Lakehead Public Schools says there has been a COVID-19 case detected in an individual associated with Hammarskjold High School.
The Thunder Bay District Health Unit is investigating and managing any potential exposures and also identifying any high- and low-risk contacts. Parents or caregivers of students in any impacted cohorts will be contacted by a public health official to complete an assessment and be given further instructions, if necessary.
Anyone not contacted by a public health official should consider themselves to not be at risk.
