THUNDER BAY -- A case of COVID-19 has been discovered in the St. Ignatius High School community.
In a release issued late Sunday night, the Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board announced they'd been contacted by the Thunder Bay District Health Unit informing them about the case.
Parents, guardians and staff in the affected cohort have been notified. The case also affects a school-bus cohort and affected students have been informed.
For privacy reasons, neither the board nor the health unit publicly identifies the cohort or bus route involved.
A thorough cleaning and disinfection process will be undertaken.
