GORHAM TOWNSHIP – A case of COVID-19 has been detected at Gorham and Ware Public School.
According to Lakehead Public Schools, the board is working closely with the Thunder Bay District Health Unit to identify any potential further exposure at the rural school.
The health unit is identifying all those who might be considered a close contact, high- or low-risk, and will contact parents of caregivers in any impacted classes or cohorts.
Anyone else at the school who is not contacted would not be considered to have an elevated risk.
