This Sunday in Thunder Bay – March 23, 2025
Enjoy the fresh air with Spring Skiing at Loch Lomond starting at 10:00 am, along with the 2-Day First Time Ski/Snowboard Course for Adults for those looking to learn a new skill. If you’re in the mood for shopping, the Goods and Co Market at Woodside Bar also opens at 10:00 am. Creativity takes center stage in the afternoon with an Easter Egg Pysanka Workshop at noon, followed by ongoing exhibits at the Thunder Bay Museum, including Treaty 3: Manidoo Mazina’igan, The Sacred Document and Can Car and The Rosies, both at 1:00 pm. For craft lovers, a Knitting Mittens session begins at 1:30 pm, while Winter Fundays: Art Activities with CAHEP kicks off at 2:00 pm.
Later in the day, indulge in a culinary experience at the Winter Chef’s Table at Red Lion Smokehouse at 4:00 pm. Those with a love for words can attend Poetry Night with Dorset Pier Community Cares and The Sleepy Gee Events at Woodside Bar at 5:00 pm. To wrap up the weekend, the Dirty Catfish Brass Band will be performing at the Geraldton Country Club at 7:00 pm.
