This midweek day in Thunder Bay offers a variety of enriching activities and engaging events. At noon, Women of the Fur Trade takes the stage, offering historical insight with a modern twist. The afternoon continues with two cultural exhibits: Can Car and the Rosies and Treaty 3: Manidoo Mazina’igan, The Sacred Document, both opening at 1:00 p.m., providing opportunities to explore the region’s unique stories and contributions. For local goods and community connections, the Thunder Bay Country Market opens at 3:30 p.m.
Later in the day, the EarthCare Advisory Committee Meeting gathers at 4:30 p.m. to discuss sustainability efforts within the city. Evening theatre lovers have another chance to catch Women of the Fur Trade at 7:30 p.m., followed by more live entertainment at Danny Johnson’s Piano Bar at Shooter’s Tavern. For those who missed it earlier, Women of the Fur Trade will also be performed again at Magnus Theatre, wrapping up a culturally vibrant Wednesday in Thunder Bay.
