This Friday in Thunder Bay – April 18, 2025
This Good Friday is packed with events for all ages across Thunder Bay. Families can kick off the day with Pottery for Kids (Easter Weekend) at 10:30 a.m., followed by browsing local goods at The Hub Bazaar April Pop-Up Market starting at 11:00 a.m. History lovers can explore two fascinating exhibitions in the afternoon: Can Car and the Rosies and Treaty 3: Manidoo Mazina’igan, The Sacred Document, both opening at 1:00 p.m. For something creative, there's also a Fused Glass Easter Eggs workshop beginning at 1:30 p.m.
As the sun sets, Thunder Bay lights up with music, theatre, and comedy. Jazz lovers can enjoy Jazz and Old Fashioned Fridays with Mood Indigo at Anchor & Ore from 6:00 p.m. Laughter fills The Foundry at 7:30 p.m. with Off the Cuff Comedy: 420 Edition, while theatre fans can catch Women of the Fur Trade with shows at multiple venues, including Magnus Theatre. Later in the evening, live music heats up at Bar Polonia and Black Pirates Pub, and for night owls, Throwback at the Wayland and the Good Friday Party at The Foundry will keep the energy going well past sundown.
