Thunder Bay kicks off the weekend bright and early with the Thunder Bay Country Market opening at 8:00 a.m., followed by both the Goods and Co Market and Thunder Bay Farmers Market opening at 10:00 a.m. Families can enjoy a festive outing with the Easter Bunny Visit beginning at 11:00 a.m. In the afternoon, cultural and historical offerings continue with Treaty 3: Manidoo Mazina’igan, The Sacred Document and Can Car and the Rosies, both opening at 1:00 p.m. For the creative at heart, a Paper Bouquet Workshop adds a hands-on activity to the Easter weekend at 1:30 p.m.
Theatre and music take center stage later in the day, starting with Women of the Fur Trade at 2:00 p.m., with an evening performance again at 7:30 p.m. Vinyl lovers can stop by Red Lion Smokehouse at 3:00 p.m. for Vinyl Saturdays, while theatre fans can take in A Public Reading...About the Death of Walt Disney, presented by Cambrian Players at 7:30 p.m. The night wraps up with a full lineup of live entertainment, including a Special 420 Sublime Tribute at Black Pirates Pub, DJ Whurlwind spinning tunes at Red Lion, Throwback at the Wayland, and Back Forty at The Foundry, all starting between 9:00 and 10:00 p.m. There’s no shortage of things to do in the city today.
