Pyatt signs with Lightning

Thunder Bay’s Tom Pyatt has a new home. An unrestricted free agent, the 24-year-old Pyatt has left the Montreal Canadiens and inked a one-year deal with the Tampa Bay Lightning. Terms of the contract were not immediately disclosed.

An unrestricted free agent, the 24-year-old Pyatt has left the Montreal Canadiens and inked a one-year deal with the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Terms of the contract were not immediately disclosed.

Pyatt had two goals and five assists with the Canadiens in 2010-11, and has four goals and 12 points in 101 career games.

The Lightning are the third NHL organization for Pyatt, who was a fourth-round pick of the New York Rangers in 2005.
