They will need every penny of that money to keep them from entering into bankruptcy protection down the road.

Chop senior management positions now. Save yourself millions. Start with the head of purchasing and go from there. Stop living a pipe dream.

Trump will do what he believes and what he was elected for. The sad truth is that it is time for Algoma to make drastic cuts and cost saving efforts, otherwise they will not survive.

Just wondering if you will still be handing out profit sharing cheques this summer.

Start the chop. Very sad day for this city. While we are so concerned about emmisions, China is going full bore using the old traditional steel making methods with no pollution concerns whatsoever.

All nice to know but where are you going to sell your steel once March/14 arrives. Time to start trimming the fat and prepare for the storm.

Yes I concur. Senior management to blame.

I worked with Earl at the Sault OPP Detachment in his final years while he was a Sgt in the radio room. We talked many times as he loved to talk about hunting and fishing as did I. Earl was well respected by all members of the OPP and a true gentleman. I can recall him helping me at detachment on one occasion when I needed some muscle to assist in bringing in a hostile prisoner. He was rock solid and always willing to provide guidance to younger officers. Rest in peace Earl. Bruno Chiarot
