THUNDER BAY -- Several members of Ultimate Gymnastics competitive gymnastics team enjoyed super results in Brampton this past weekend at the Superhero Challenge hosted by All Star Sports Centre.
The local squad combined to make an amazing 30 trips to the podium, with Gold Silver and Bronze medals all part of the equation.
Doing their part in the club’s impressive medal haul were Provincial Athlete Olivia Arena and Invitational Athlete Lierra Quequish, who both took home1st Overall in their respective categories. Also coming away with their necks full of bling were Maya Grunys, Tiara Sutton and Sarah McChristie with 15 medals between them on the Provincial side, followed by Sophia Frattaroli and Brynlee Pitre who each grabbed five medals in the Invitational meet.
Caroline DiFelice, from the Provincial squad, also made the trip but was a scratch due to injury.
