Thunder Bay Bulldogs conquor Duluth

Two Thunder Bay Bulldog Spring Hockey Teams competed in the 2003 age group of "Battle by the Bay" in Duluth this past weekend.

The Bulldog White team won one pool and Bulldog Navy won the other and they matched up in an exciting Championship game.

After spotting the White team a 3-0 lead, the Navy team stormed back to tie the game 3-3 and then won it in triple overtime.  A great job by both teams representing our city very well.

The Bulldogs organization had 4 teams competing in the tournament in various age categories.  The 2000 Bulldog team went undefeated finishing first in round robin to eventually beat the Thunder Bay FHC 2000 team 5 - 2 in the finals to also win the Championship. 

The Bulldog organization has 12 teams overall - put together to offer kids a great avenue for fun, to improve their skill level and to compete at a high level in spring and summer hockey.
