The Slovak Legion’s Novemburger may not be ‘out there’ as much as some of the other options, but was it ever good.
The Slovak burger consisted of a 7oz beef and pork patty, with their east end spice blend, braised in aromatic gravy. They topped it off with crispy bacon and melted cheese. Layered with fresh lettuce, ripe tomato and savoury onions, mustard and mayonnaise all in a locally sourced Roma bun.
The Slovak Legion said it is “a timeless indulgence that never goes out of style,” and I couldn’t agree more.
The burger was cooked to perfection leaving it juicy and the toppings all complimented it wonderfully.
I loved that the star of the show was the actual patty, and the topping just complimented it, while not overpowering it.
