Bight Restaurant and Bar is putting its best hoof forward with its entry into this year's Novemburger: The Bison Burger.
Bights burger features a 5 oz patty made from local Bison from Stanley Farms, caesar-ancho sauce, pickled jalapeño, lettuce, jalapeño Monterey Jack cheese.
The burger was flavourful and seasoned well. Although one almost wishes it was less well-seasoned, to have more flavour present from the bison that makes up the patty. The pickled jalapeño adds a nice hit of acidity which works well with the monetary jack cheese.
This burger costs $26 plus tax and tip and comes with your choice of crispy fries, soup or salad. $2 from each Novemburger sold this month goes to the local United Way.
Bight is located at 2201 Sleeping Giant Pkwy Unit, tucked away behind the Marina Park Splash Pad.
