The Novemburger at Cliffhanger Restaurant & Bar is definitely one that you should go out of your way to try before the month ends.
Their Cliffhanger Burger may not seem as exotic or wild as some of the other choices that are out there, but in terms of bang for your buck, it’s a delicious meal.
The six-ounce Wagyu burger has cheddar cheese, bacon strips, corn-fried onions, roasted garlic aioli, a spicy fig jam and barbecue sauce in between a pretzel bun.
Upon my first bite, I was instantly reminded of the homemade burgers that my dad makes when I’m back home in Sault Ste. Marie.
I was a big fan right away and will likely have one more before December rolls around.
The Cliffhanger Burger costs $22 before tax and comes with french fries and a dill pickle on the side.
Cliffhanger Restaurant & Bar is located inside the Best Western Plus Nor’Wester Hotel and Conference Centre on Highway 61. They are open seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
