Daytona’s Restaurant returns to the Novemburger scene this year and it’s Garlic Chardonnay Burger is certainly worth celebrating.
This burger features a delicious patty and doesn’t come with your standard lettuce, tomato, cheese.
Instead it's all dressed up with arugula, romesco sauce, truffle aioli, Gruyere cheese, pickled red onion, garlic-Chardonnay butter and an Asiago schiaciatta — yes, I had to look that one up. It can be a crisp bread but the schiaciatta on this burger is a thin crispy potato.
This creation comes on a brioche bun and all the flavours work well together.
The romesco sauce also gives it a bit of a heat, which makes this Novemburger memorable for all the right reasons.
The Garlic Chardonnay Burger can be made vegetarian with a Beyond Meat patty and it comes with a side of fries, soup or salad for $24 plus tax and tip.
The burger is available after 11 a.m. on the lunch and dinner menus.
$2 for every Novemburger sold this month goes to the local United Way.
