Fans of the Philly cheesesteak may want to give Java Hut’s Novemburger entry a try this month.
The restaurant is offering up its Philly burger – a six-ounce patty topped with sauteed onions, mushrooms and peppers and melted provolone cheese along with a roasted garlic aioli sauce.
It also came with a small au jus on the side.
I love a good Philly cheese-style sandwich, wrap, burger, what-have-you, so I was eager to call dibs on reviewing this burger.
In terms of flavour, the Philly burger was delicious. The onions and mushrooms were prominent and I loved the roasted garlic aioli sauce.
The beef patty itself though was a rather dry, but dipping it in the au jus help counter the dryness.
The Philly burger is served with fries, soup or salad for $15.99 before tax and tip.
It can also be made gluten-free for an extra $1.
$2 from every Novemburger sold this month goes to the local United Way.
