If you love pizza and you love burgers, you should give Lake and Spruce's fried-cheese pizza burger a try.
This burger is the restaurant's Novemburger entry and features a Parmesan-infused beef patty, with a Parmesan crisp, pepperoni, salami, spinach, marinara sauce and deep-fried cheese curds. This creation comes between a toasted brioche bun.
In terms of creativity, this burger definitely was intriguing.
The deep-fried cheese curds were my favourite part along with the crispy Parmesan layer.
It was all about the cheese. And I would have loved even more cheese to make it a little gooey, especially with the pepperoni and salami being a bit crispy and dry. Personally, I would have loved some onions thrown in there.
The patty itself was delicious and it was the first Novemburger I've tried that didn't require a stack of napkins.
This Novemburger comes with a side of fries for $21.99 plus tax and tip.
$2 for every Novemburger sold this month goes to the local United Way.
