For their entry in this year’s Novemburger, Skål Restaurant at the Valhalla Inn is serving up a burger with a mix of flavours.
Their Bella Burger has a six-ounce patty with mozzarella, ricotta and sundried tomato Gouda. That's topped with arugula for a peppery kick and house made pesto aioli for an herb-infused finish.
With a variety of ingredients to have your taste buds guessing, I was a little concerned that there might have been too much going.
That wasn’t the case at all. Everything came together perfectly and this burger was pretty easy to chow down on.
The Bella Burger costs $23 before tax and comes with a choice of soup, salad or fries as a side dish. Vegetarian and gluten free burgers are also available.
Skal Restaurant is located inside the Valhalla Inn at 1 Valhall Inn Road.
