It may seem a bit smaller compared to some of the other offerings in this year’s Novemburger, don’t judge The Foundry’s La Cherry Bomba Bison Burger by its looks, it's actually very filling.
In between the house-made kaiser bun is bacon, blue cheese, arugula, an onion ring, black garlic aioli and cherry La Bomba, an antipasto spread with just a bit of a kick.
The first taste you’ll get is likely that of the onion ring and it gives a nice crunch.
I haven’t had a lot of bison burgers over the years but if they're all this good I would definitely have to eat them more often.
The La Cherry Bomba Bison Burger, which comes with a choice of salad, fries or soup as a side, costs $24 before tax. It can also be made gluten-free.
The Foundry is located at 242 Red River Rd. and is open Monday through Saturday from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m.
