When you come for the Sal’s “The Fork in the Road” burger, you won't have to choose just one path.
Coming in hot with a split burger experience, one half of this Novemburger included candied sriracha bacon, melted cheddar, and heartbeat ranch. The other half had maple infused bacon, soft provolone, and was drizzled with dijonnaise sauce.
Made with a hand pressed burger on a Roma Bakery kaiser and topped, on both sides, with crispy onion rings, pickles and lettuce. I couldn’t put it down.
The flavours all worked perfectly together, with no one overpowering the others.
Both halves of the burger complimented each other. The sauces were great whether they were mixed in the middle of the burger or solo on each side.
The toppings complimented the taste of the actual burger perfectly, my favourite touch being the onion rings.
The burger comes with a choice of fries, mash, soup or salad.
A gluten-free option is available for this Novemburger.
The Fork in the Road comes up at $21.50 before tax and tip.
$2 for every Novemburger sold this month goes to the local United Way.
